Product Description
LNG/CNG/LPG/SCR Catalytic converter is consists of two parts  generally, which is honeycomb ceramic catalyst and metal shell or metal honeycomb catalyst and metal shell. Its  main principle is that exhaust emissions happen redox  reaction  by catalyst active ingredient Under the condition of appropriate temperature. Change the harmful exhaust components ,such as,CO, HC, CH4, NOx into CO2, N2 and H2O. This catalytic converter is suitable for gas fuel engines.
The carrier of catalytic converters : the basic material is ceramics (MGO2, Al2O3, SiO2). The purpose is to provide a inert physical structure which can coat a catalyst coating.To have a larger catalytic surface in the small volume , so the carrier surface is formed into a honeycomb.
Catalyst coating : The substrate surface is coated with a active layer which is very loose . And the layer manily is metal oxide γ-Al2O3. Since the surface is very rough, which makes the actual area of the wall increases about 7000 times, greatly increases the ability of the active surface of the three-way catalytic converter and the store oxygen. Outside the active layer is coated with auxiliary catalyst ,such as,  zr ,Ce  and so on. And with main catalyst,for example Rh,Pd,PT and so on.
The main reaction of catalytic converter as follows:
Oxidation reaction : HC + O2 = H2O + CO2
Reduction reaction : NOx + HC + CO = N2 + H2O + CO2
Catalytic converters detailed description of features:
1 using a cellular ceramic substrate , low cost, the active ingredient adhesion, and easy deactivation and long life and other advantages ;
2 uses a new type of rare earth - zirconia - titanium materials to improve the heat resistance of the catalyst activity ;
3 with a transition metal , an alkaline earth metal , a small amount of active ingredients of precious metals , with clean rate, long life, low ignition temperature ;
4 uses a new oxygen storage material , reducing the ignition temperature of the catalyst and the complete conversion temperature.
